Te Ata: The Story Teller
Te Ata was a Chickasaw woman whose powerful story-telling talents attracted the attention of Eleanor Roosevelt in 1933. Te Ata is credited with improving the image of Native Americans in the United States, and her story is now a movie.
Tonight, the screenwriter joins Richard & Gary to talk about both the film and the real-life Chickasaw storyteller.
