The Father of Aviation
At age 32, Orville Wright piloted the first successful powered, controlled flight on December 17, 1903. He and his older brother Wilbur had changed the world.
Orville Wright lived to see airplanes used in two world wars. German jet planes would take to the skies in the closing days of World War II. Orville was amazed at how far aviation had come since his 59 second flight. He died in1948, only 21 years before man first set foot on the moon.
Join Richard and Gary as they share the incredible story of the father of modern aviation.
